About Me
I am the current Board Chair for Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma and my passion for mental health awareness and advocacy has earned me the title of 2023 Pinnacle Award Honoree for Health & Wellness. You can often find me in North Tulsa as the Community Advisor for Healthy Minds Initiative where I am working to not only increase mental health awareness in the community but also among behavioral health professionals of color. But most importantly I am a southern girl from Fort Worth, TX who has traveled the world, mastered pastry school, won a blue ribbon in a quilt competition, and hiked to the top of the Great Wall of China even though I’m afraid of heights.
